In 3D class today, our marionette project has been postponed. Apparently, there’s some kind of special contest going on at a local theater to design a table setting. Centerpiece, chair decorations, table cloth, just the whole shebang. So instead of building creepy self-puppets, we had to get into groups and put together a theme proposal, complete with sketches, materials list, etc.
My group came up with a Retro-Batman Comic feel, with 3D skyscrapers in extreme perspective, colored in dot printing, with black outlines, lots of sound effect bubbles, a 3D Bat Signal, word bubble place mats, and capes for the chairs.
I have never had so much fun designing a theme with other people, and never been so gratified to hear applause after a presentation. U//u//U
