The other day, my dad made this post on his facebook wall.
I was pleasantly surprised to see this… I know my dad’s kind of old, and I think it’s pretty cool that he’s not terribly caught up in whether what he does is masculine or not, and it’s a nice sentiment to express.
Except someone responded to it.
I don’t know this guy… I believe my mom explained he’s a coworker of my dad’s at Best Buy. He and my mom went back and forth a bit, her calling him on being rude, and him trying to pretend he was just lol’ing it up. He even said something along the lines of “didn’t know you considered gay to be an insult lol”.
That’s when my little brother stepped in.
…he’s 16. I wouldn’t have expected him to step up like this, and all I can say is, hey boy. I’m awful proud of you.
