Getting my wisdom teeth taken out tomorrow morning. What if the anesthesia doesn’t work and I wake up mid-surgery? What if I get a crazy infection and my face ends up melting off? What if I start saying really embarrassing things to the nurses while I uncontrollably sob like those stupid viral youtube videos???
My mom was telling me when my dad had oral surgery that involved being put under, he woke up after and told the nurse how excited he was that he was going to go home and ride his Harley motorcycle. My dad has never owned a Harley, nor any kind of motorcycle. Anesthesia makes you a straight-up liar.
