You know what all of us have but not many of us give? Blood. Through out the US, there are critically low shortages of blood every day. Blood is really important in hospitals for people who are undergoing surgery or are in critical condition, so it’s vital that a supply be maintained. You can help make sure it doesn’t run out.
If you are relatively healthy, over the age of 16, and weigh at least 110 pounds, then you are eligible to donate blood. It is quick, almost painless, and your donation can potentially save the lives of 3 people (plus you get snacks and juice after). Taking 30 minutes out of your day to give blood could save someone’s life.

Still, you should donate if you can
I probably won’t be able to do this any time soon, but if any of you can…!
